1988
ACE is founded
Associated Chemical Enterprises is established in February 1988 to fill a need in the South African laboratory chemical market.
1995
SABS ISO 9001
We seek ISO 9001 listing in June 1995 and achieve certification after six months, on the first attempt.
2000s
Own high-tech facility
Operations consolidate into our own facility in Johannesburg with packing, labelling, sales, delivery fleet and web hosting in-house.
2018
SABS ISO 14001
Environmental management certification obtained in August 2018 — again on the first attempt.
2019
Triple accreditation
ISO 45001 achieved in October 2019, making ACE the first chemical repacking company with triple accreditation.
